About Sandra

I started out back int the 80's in high school, as the photographer for both my yearbook and newpaper staff. While in the military I was trained as an Imagery Analyst, I loved looking at details. Raw film, however was out of my budget. Move on to the the 2000's well, film has changed we are now in the digital age and just a snap of my best friend and her daughter, kani honu photography was born. It combines three of my passions, art, photography and makeup artistry. My training is the school of hard knocks. However, having a background in graphic design truly helps. I look at photography as more than just picking up the camera, I look at it as if I am seeing the world for the first time.
